Wingnuts take down T-Bones in 14 innings
Richard Prigatano’s two-run triple in the 13th lifted the Wichita Wingnuts to a 7-5 win over the Kansas City T-Bones on Monday in Kansas City, Kan.
Wichita’s Jesse Pratt earned his first professional win, pitching the final three innings while giving up two hits, no runs and striking out three. Kansas City used seven pitchers, while the Wingnuts used six.
Brent Clevlen and Leo Vargas added two RBIs each for Wichita.
The second game of the three-game series is Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
