Colorado sends Wichita to seventh straight loss
Colorado shut out the Thunder 4-0 on Saturday night in Littleton, Colo., sending Wichita to its seventh consecutive loss.
A power play goal by Adrian Veideman at 15:49 of the first period gave the Eagles a 1-0. Three second-period goals turned out to be superfluous.
The Thunder was outshot 34-20, and spend a good portion of the game shorthanded — Colorado had seven power-play chances to two for Wichita.
The Thunder has one win in the last month — they’re 1-10-0-1 since Nov. 13 and have been outscored 46-20.
Wichita has the fewest points in the ECHL standings — 13 in 24 games.
