Beast beats Thunder 4-1

Brampton beat the Thunder 4-1 on Friday night in Brampton, Ontario.

The Thunder outshot the Beast 18-11 in the first period was down 2-0 after the opening 20 minutes.

Kyle Gibbons scored Wichita’s goal midway through the second period, cutting the deficit to 2-1. The Beast regained a two-goal edge with a power-play goal early in the third period, and added an empty-netter at 17:53.

Former Thunder player Chad Painchaud had a goal and two assists for Brampton.
