Tulsa beats FC Wichita 4-2
The Tulsa Athletics scored four consecutive goals and beat FC Wichita 4-2 on Friday night at Stryker Complex, dealing Wichita its first loss in the NPSL South Central Conference.
FC Wichita took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute when Leo Sosa headed in a Brent Hobson corner kick.
Tulsa got goals in the 34th and 42nd minutes to take a 2-1 lead before halftime. The Athletics added goals in the 56th and 62nd minutes. Sosa scored on a penalty kick in the 81st minute for Wichita’s final goal.
Tulsa leads the South Central with 22 points, seven more than FC Wichita. Tulsa has played three more games.
