FC Wichita beats Ozark FC on strength of penalty kicks
FC Wichita scored three goals on penalty kicks Saturday night in a 4-3 National Premier Soccer League victory over Ozark FC at Styrker Soccer Complex.
Ozark FC led 2-0 after 18 minutes, but Wichita’s Deri Corfe scored in the 35th minute to cut the deficit. Leonardo Sosa followed in extra time of the first half with a penalty-kick goal to tie the game.
Sosa added a second penalty-kick goal in the 69th minute that gave Wichita the lead, but Ozark tied it a minute later.
A third Ozark foul created Sosa’s third goal on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute.
