Bellator 159 to be held at Kansas Star Arena in July

Kansas Star Arena will play host to Bellator 159 on July 22 in Mulvane.

The MMA main event pits Darrion “The Wolf” Caldwell (9-0) against Joe Taimanglo (22-6-1), with the winner scheduled to fight later this year for the Bellator bantamweight title.

Derby’s Dave “Caveman” Rickels (17-4) will meet Melvin “The Young Assassin” Guillard (32-16-2) in a lightweight bout.

Preliminary bouts are Manny Meraz against Trey Ogden and Chris Harris against Matt Foster.

Tickets go on sale Saturday and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or kansasstareventcenter.com.
