Jason Kelce once shared great dog story about Travis Kelce, who may have new pup
One unexpected sidebar from the wedding of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer Taylor Swift has been the focus on their pets.
Taylor Swift famously posed with her cat Benjamin Button on her shoulders for a photoshoot after being named Time Magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year. Swift has two other cats: Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson.
But it’s a dog that caught the fancy of fans, who spotted a big white canine after the couple tied the knot. Leaked photos from the ceremony apparently showed a picture of Swift and Kelce with a dog, and one might have been seen outside Madison Square Garden in New York where they were married.
Days later, Kelce was seen leaving a plane with a dog in his arms.
Kelce once had two dogs: a goldendoodle and a pomeranian-husky mix, as he told the Arrowhead Addict blog in 2019. However, his ex-girlfriend told People magazine she took the dogs when the relationship ended.
But a year ago, Kelce’s brother, Jason, was on the Fitz & Whit podcast and shared a story about one of those unruly pups.
“He had these couches, and it was like green velvet, over-the-top couches,” Jason said of Travis’ home. “And I go, and I’m ... not gonna say the dollar amount. I’m like, ‘Dude, what are these couches?’ (Travis said,) ‘Oh, it’s an Italian designer. They made them.’ He said it’s an investment. I’m like, ‘Travis ...’”
“Maybe six months after that, and I come back and one of the couches is like pushed up against the wall,” Jason recounted. “(I asked,) ‘Why’d you move the couch?’ And he goes, he pulls the couch back. He just got a puppy. The puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it.”
Let’s hope this new dog, if it indeed belongs to Kelce and Swift, is better-behaved.
