In soccer parlance, MD-1 means “Match Day minus one” — that is, one day until a World Cup match is played.

Well, we’re at WD-1, just one day until The Wedding Of The Century takes place. When Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and international singing star Taylor Swift exchange their “I Dos,” it won’t be a royal wedding. But it will feel like one given the anticipation for the event.

Reporters and fans have been embedded outside Madison Square Garden in New York City, watching as the arena is being transformed into a magical wedding space.

We’ll provide updates on the wedding prep.

What they’ll eat?

Page Six spied trucks bringing food to the arena, and one would think it’s for the rehearsal dinner and/or the wedding reception. Or possibly both.

Among the items seen were “lobster meat, blackened chicken, packaged chicken, boneless skinless chicken breasts and chicken legs into the venue. They could also be seen transporting French fries, thick-cut onion rings, red and orange peppers, romaine and other produce, eggs, heavy whipping cream and whole milk.

“We also spotted a Krispy Kreme truck.”

The Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous apparently includes doughnuts.

Blocking move

Crews are busy preparing Madison Square Garden for the wedding, but on Wednesday morning, they also took time to block the work they are doing.

A curtain was installed to keep prying eyes and cameras away.

Musical preview?

Musicians Ed Sheeran and Aaron Dessner of The National are in New York, fueling talk that they’ll be at the wedding. Both are close friends with Swift.

Kelce apparently also is in New York, as a fan shared a photo said to be of him jogging.

A timeline for the festivities was shared Wednesday by Page Six.

A rehearsal dinner with 100 guests is planned at Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, starting at 5 p.m.

“On the wedding day, doors open for guests at 3:30 p.m., with cocktail hour beginning at 4 p.m. on the 6th-floor concourse,” Page Six said. “The ceremony will then start at 5:30 p.m. on the arena floor.

“The reception kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to end at 2:00 a.m.”

Carpet was placed at Madison Square Garden ... and then removed on Tuesday.
