ESPN’s latest “30 for 30” documentary will highlight an iconic Philadelphia Eagles play.

The “Philly Special” from Super Bowl LII will be the topic of Friday’s “30 for 30.” That was the touchdown pass from tight end Trey Burton to quarterback Nick Foles that has been replicated by teams ever since.

On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers talked about the documentary. Former Eagles center Jason Kelce is in the “30 for 30.”

He asked his brother, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, if there was a specific Chiefs play that would make for a good “30 for 30.”

Travis Kelce suggested the famous pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to receiver Tyreek Hill in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory over the 49ers.

“I think you would probably be the ‘3 Jet Wasp,’ the play in the Super Bowl to Tyreek where we’re down two scores, and we need a huge play,” Kelce said. “Down to what felt like our last dollar. And Tyreek came up big with coach (Eric) Bieniemy calling the right play and Pat kind of throwing it out there, his famous words, ‘Do we got Wasp? What about Wasp?’

“It was absolutely electric. So I’d say that’s probably our ‘Philly Special’ in that regard, and that’s the only one that really comes to mind.”

Kelce did a little Kermit voice when mimicking Mahomes. The New Heights X account shared video of the “Wasp” play Monday on the sixth anniversary of the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl win in 50 years.

NFL Films did an excellent job breaking down that play days after Super Bowl LIV. A longer version would be great to watch.
