Justin Reid’s girlfriend shared big personal news with world during Chiefs-Saints game

Marissa Rand, girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid, broke some big personal news at the “Monday Night Football” game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

On Tuesday, Rand and Reid posted photos to their Instagram accounts showing Rand holding up a homemade sign at the game that read: “Justin I’m Pregnant.”

“I heard Super Bowl babies are God’s favorite ;)” Rand wrote with the photos. “Can you guess the gender?”

She included a red heart emoji with a blue arrow through it.

Hint?

Fellow Chiefs WAG Chariah Gordon, who is engaged to wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., was the first to comment on Rand’s post.

Tavia Hunt, wife of Chiefs CEO and co-owner Tavia Hunt, was also among nearly 19,000 followers who liked the post. Other Chiefs WAGs and NFL players, including former Chiefs teammate Juan Thornhill, offered congratulations, too.

“Finally (you’re) gonna be the best mama!!! love you,” Gordon wrote.

Reid and Rand have been a couple since at least September 2022, according to People. Like Gordon, she shares photos of herself at Chiefs games and occasionally shares personal photos of herself with Reid.

She was at the Super Bowl earlier this year and they were together at the team’s ring ceremony in the spring.

They are friends with another sports power couple — Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens — and attended their wedding last year.

This makes at least two Chiefs wives who are pregnant with babies that, from the sound of what Rand posted, could arrive around the time of the next Super Bowl in early February.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, announced in July that she’s pregnant with the couple’s third child.
