Want to go to Sunday’s KC Chiefs Cowboys game at Arrowhead? Be prepared to shell out
The atmosphere at Chiefs home games ranks among the best in the NFL. Arrowhead Stadium is often filled to the brim, but it’s usually not too difficult to find tickets on the secondary market for games in a stadium that seats more than 76,000.
That’s not the case for this Sunday’s game, at least according to one midweek report.
According to secondary ticket outlet TickPick, Sunday’s Cowboys-Chiefs game, scheduled for 3:25 p.m., carries the most expensive average ticket price yet for a game in Kansas City this season. That’s true across the board, from the least expensive seats to the costliest ones.
Also, the game’s current average ticket price of $493 is the fifth-highest for an NFL game across the league this season. The second-most expensive average ticket to a Chiefs game in 2021 was Green Bay two weekends ago, at $372.
Look for a Cowboys-fan invasion Sunday, too. TickPick reports that 37% of the tickets sold have been purchased by buyers with Texas zip codes.
Here are the five most expensive average ticket prices for an NFL game this season:
- $912: Buccaneers at Patriots
- $560: Ravens at Raiders
- $557: Cowboys at Buccaneers
- $546: Chiefs at Raiders
- $493: Cowboys at Chiefs
