Third-round pick Chris Conley signs with Chiefs
The Chiefs now have seven on their nine draft picks under contract.
The team agreed to a deal with Georgia receiver Chris Conley, one of two third-round picks, a source told The Star on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, the Chiefs finalized deals with second-round pick Mitch Morse, a center out of Missouri, fourth-round pick Ramik Wilson, an inside linebacker out of Georgia, fifth-round pick D.J. Alexander, an inside linebacker out of Oregon State, fifth-round pick James O’Shaughnessy, a tight end out of Illinois State, sixth-round pick Rakeem Nunez-Roches, a defensive tackle out of Southern Miss and seventh-round pick Da’Ron Brown, a receiver out of Northern Illinois.
The Chiefs also drafted Washington cornerback Marcus Peters in the first round and Oregon State cornerback Steven Nelson in the third round.
The Chiefs annual rookie minicamp begins on Saturday and will conclude on Monday. You can find a list of undrafted free agents and tryout players here.
