Former K-Stater Tyler Lockett projected to be top kick returner in NFL
Former Kansas State player Tyler Lockett was the only rookie named to the 2015 All-Pro projection team by Elliot Harrison, an analyst at NFL.com.
He got the nod for kick returner after several spectacular preseason returns for the Seattle Seahawks, including one for a touchdown. Lockett also had a 25-yard reception last week versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Lockett joined Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman on the list.
The Chiefs’ fullback Anthony Sherman was also singled out because, “Sherman paves the way for Jamaal Charles to average 5 yards per rush.” Harrison passed over Jamaal Charles for Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
