Royals play rare prime-time game Sunday but not everyone will be able to see it

The Royals have six games scheduled this week, and five will air on Royals.TV. Monday’s matchup against the Orioles at Kauffman Stadium also will be seen on FS1. That’s the opener of a three-game series against Baltimore.

The Angels come to town after that, and Friday night’s game will be on KCTV (Ch. 5) and Royals.TV. The series finale is Sunday night, a rarity for the Royals, who last played in that time slot in 2016.

Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to see it.

That game, which begins at 6:20 p.m., will be shown only on the streaming service Peacock. Two former Royals will be in the broadcast booth. Play-by-play man Jason Benetti will be joined by Eric Hosmer and Mark Gubicza.

For the games on Royals.TV this week, Jake Eisenberg will rotate into the television booth this week with Jeff Montgomery working as the game analyst. Joel Goldberg will be the pregame and postgame host and Rex Hudler will join him. Bridget Howard will be the sideline reporter.

Here is how to watch and listen to Royals games this week.
