Kansas City Royals announce Grammy-nominated rapper will hold concert at The K
The Kansas City Royals are bringing a special guest to Kauffman Stadium. On Wednesday, the club announced that musical sensation Flo Rida will hold a postgame concert for fans on July 26.
Flo Rida, a four-time Grammy nominee, has topped the Billboard charts. He is known for hit songs such as “Low,” “My House” and “Good Feeling” among others.
He will perform after the Royals game against the Cleveland Guardians. First pitch is set for 6:15 p.m. Central. Fans who purchase game tickets will also be granted access to attend the concert.
Field passes are also available in limited quantities for $25. The field pass allows fans to enjoy the concert from the infield.
Flo Rida is the latest artist to perform at Kauffman Stadium. He joins Billy Joel, Guns N’ Roses and Def Leppard in recent years. NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, aka DJ DIESEL, held a concert last August.
In his career, Flo Rida has gone platinum several times. “Low” was among his biggest hits and sat No. 1 on the music charts. The record reached diamond status and eclipsed over a billion streams.
Flo Rida is a native of Miami and has several albums. His discography also features “Wild Ones” and “R.O.O.T.S.” as headline selections.
The Royals are set to hold multiple concerts in 2025. The club will welcome Christian worship group Maverick City Music on May 31 for Faith Day.
Maverick City Music will perform after the Royals game against the Detroit Tigers. The group has performed in KC before. Previous concerts have been held at T-Mobile Center in the Power and Light District.
