Video: Valley Center tourney slam dunk contest

VALLEY CENTER — The Valley Center tournament hosted its slam dunk contest Saturday morning.

Judges included Heights grad and San Diego Chargers running back Dreamius Smith, Valley Center grad Jason Carter, Wichita Eagle reporter Joanna Chadwick and Wichita Eagle correspondent Sean Boston.

Valley Center’s Ryan Garcia won the contest with 100 points in the championship round.

Other contestestants included Maize South’s Preston Seiler, Topeka Seaman’s Josiah Hazim, Wichita Southeast’s Israel Barnes, Topeka Seaman’s Jackson Cobb, Wichita Southeast’s Milan Brown and Garden City’s Zac Karlin.
