Former Wichita State guard Toure Murry can win his second NBA Development League title on Wednesday night in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Murry scored 16 points and handed out four assists for the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Tuesday night in a 109-102 loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders. The D-Fenders tied the best-of-3 series and forced Wednesday’s final game at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.

Murry, who played at WSU from 2008-12, averages 11.5 points, 4.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds for the Skyforce, who are an affiliate of the Miami Heat.

In 2013, he played on the Development League champion Rio Grande Valley (Texas) Vipers.

The league website ranks Murry one of the D-League’s top 25 prospects. He has 56 games in the NBA with the Knicks, Jazz and Wizards.

Murry ranks No. 12 on WSU’s career scoring list with 1,539 points, second with 430 assists and third with 180 steals.
