Houston high school guard Kerwin Roach chooses Texas

Houston North Shore guard Kerwin Roach chose Texas’ basketball program on Friday. Roach, ranked No. 35 on the Rivals.com list, narrowed his final choices to California, Texas and Wichita State.

He used a unique prop to announce his non-binding commitment to the Longhorns.
