Flashback: Does this look familiar to Shocker fans?

Wichita State’s journey to the 2013 Final Four started with this Malcolm Armstead jumper to beat VCU on Nov. 13, 2012.

That road win gave WSU’s NCAA resume a significant boost and showed the Shockers, in a season of major transition, their potential.

That was Armstead at his best, with no fear. His confidence became one of his most important contributions to the 2013 team (his only season playing for WSU). Armstead never looked out of place during the NCAA Tournament and the rest of the team followed his lead.

He was at it again recently in the Slovenian Cup for Krka Novo with this game-winner. Similar baskets, one a three-pointer, from a guy who enjoys that situation.
