Sunday’s loss gave Illinois State (17-32, 7-10 MVC) the series, two games to one.

The Shockers (19-33, 8-10) took a 3-0 lead in the second. Chase Rader was hit by a pitch; and after two outs, Taylor Sanagorski walked and Trey Vickers doubled in Rader. Travis Young singled in Sanagorski and Vickers.

However, Illinois State scored two in the bottom of the second and four in the third for a 6-3 lead.
