Wichita State’s Ryan Tinkham named to preseason baseball All-American team

Wichita State senior Ryan Tinkham is one of three second-team preseason All-American first basemen as picked by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper

Tinkham, from Simi Valley, Calif., hit .333 with 10 home runs, 19 doubles and 46 RBI for WSU last season.

Missouri State pitcher Bryant Young also received second-team recognition. Illinois State pitcher Jacob Hendren and Missouri State third baseman Jake Burger were on the third team.
