Wichita State’s Reilly, Lehman named volleyball All-Americans

Wichita State senior Katie Reilly and sophomore Abbie Lehman earned honorable mention All-America honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Reilly, a right-side from Cypress, Texas, hit .357 and averaged 2.66 kills and 0.63 blocks a set. Lehman, a middle blocker from Newton, hit .423 and averaged 2.97 kills and 1.11 blocks. She finished fifth in hitting percentage on WSU’s single-season list.

Lehman earned the same honor last season. She joins Emily Stockman (2008, 2009) and Chelsey Feekin (2012, 2013) as Shockers to earn All-American honors twice.

WSU went 27-9, winning the Missouri Valley Conference, and defeated Kansas State in the NCAA Tournament before losing to Nebraska.

Missouri State setter Kinsey Batten, outside hitter Lily Johnson and Southern Illinois middle Taylor Pippen also earned honorable mention.
