Wichita State to host Valley tennis, men’s golf championships next year

Wichita State’s athletic teams will play host to two of the Missouri Valley Conference’s 15 championship events in 2015-16, the conference announced Monday.

The Shockers’ men’s golf team will play host to the MVC championships at Hutchinson’s Prairie Dunes Country Club on April 25-26, 2016. Men’s and women’s tennis championships will be held together at WSU on April 29-30 and May 1, 2016.

The Valley baseball tournament, which was held at Eck Stadium last month, moves to Indiana State in 2016.

The conference basketball tournaments will again be played at neutral sites – St. Louis for the men, March 3-6, 2016, and Moline, Ill., for the women, March 10-13, 2016.
