Dexter Dennis has Wichita State fans already dreaming about basketball season in June.

The incoming 6-foot-5 freshman from Louisiana posted a show-shopping dunk on his Twitter last weekend that displays his elite athleticism and vicious nature around the rim. It has WSU fans stirring about his potential.

The clip shows Dennis toss a lob toward a rim at Koch Arena. He takes a running start and as the ball bounces, Dennis elevates until his eyes are level with the rim and he forcibly slams the ball through the basket.

Not only did Dennis establish himself as the favorite for the dunk contest at Shocker Madness later this fall, but Dennis gave a glimpse of the type of athleticism that has Gregg Marshall envisioning him as a future NBA player.
