Find out who Wichita State’s opponents could be in the 2018 Charleston Classic

Wichita State will be joined by major programs like Alabama, Purdue, and Virginia Tech in the eight-team field of the 2018 Charleston Classic, which was announced on Thursday.

Alabama, Appalachian State, Ball State, Davidson, Northeastern, Purdue, Virginia Tech, and Wichita State will compete in the early-season tournament from Thursday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 18 at the TD Arena in Charleston. Tickets can be purchased here.

Five of the eight teams are currently ranked in the top-70 of Ken Pomeroy’s rankings.

Alabama: No. 24

Appalachian State: No. 224

Ball State: No. 148

Davidson: No. 69

Northeastern: No. 138

Purdue: No. 12

Virginia Tech: No. 46

Wichita State: No. 2
