Details announced for WSU-Oklahoma basketball game at Intrust

Game time for Wichita State University’s basketball game against the Oklahoma Sooners will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 16, the school announced Tuesday.

The Shockers, which are coming into the 2017-18 highly ranked by various pundits, will face the Big 12 opponent at Intrust Bank Arena.

Tickets to the game range from $18 to $192 for courtside seating.

They go on sale to the general public starting Oct. 7.

From Oct. 2-6, Wichita State’s season-ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets through a special presale. Season ticketholders can soon expect to get a letter in the mail complete with a presale code.

Tickets can be purchased at www.selectaseat.com, by phone at 855-755-7328 or in person at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman.

This is the second in a two-year series with the Sooners – last season, the Shockers narrowly defeated the Sooners 76-73 at Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Last year, the Shockers’ annual game at Intrust Bank Arena – against Oklahoma State – ended in a nearly 20-point loss.

The Shockers have already finalized all non-conference basketball games for the 2017-18 season, and an announcement of its American Athletic Conference schedule is expected later this week.
