Wichita State volleyball remains perfect with sweep of IUPUI

Wichita State improved to 4-0 with its fourth sweep, defeating IUPUI in the Hampton Inn Invitational in Indianapolis on Friday.

The Shockers won 25-15, 25-15, 25-19 with a .350 attack percentage. They held the Jaguars to .051

Abbie Lehman hit .619 and recorded 14 kills, including career No. 1,000 in the second set. Mikaela Raudsepp and Tabitha Brown both added 10 kills.

Setter Emily Hiebert handed out 35 assists.

Kori Waelbroeck led IUPUI (2-3) with 13 kills.

The Shockers are 4-0 for the first time since 2008. They play Marquette at 9 a.m. and Miami (Ohio) at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
