Wichita State volleyball sweeps Baylor
Wichita State swept Baylor on Thursday to open the Delta Zeta Classic in San Marco, Texas.
Outside hitter Mikaela Raudsepp led the Shockers (2-2) with 11 kills. Middle Abbie Lehman added 10 kills and hit .350.
WSU, which won 25-14, 25-19, 25-23, hit .312 and held the Bears (4-2) to a .196 attack percentage. The Shockers outblocked the Bears 9-3.
WSU setter Emil Hiebert recorded 33 assists. Dani Mostrom had 11 digs.
Katie Staiger led Baylor with 16 kills.
The Shockers play Texas State at 11 a.m. Friday, followed by a match against North Texas at 5 p.m.
