Wichita State’s Lehman, Larson earn volleyball All-American honors

Wichita State’s Abbie Lehman earned American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American honorable mention honors on Wednesday to become the first Shocker with three such selections.

Lehman, a junior middle blocker, also received honorable mention honors in 2014 and 1015.

Senior right-side Jody Larson joined her with honorable mention recognition.

Lehman, from Newton, hit .384 and averaged 2.68 kills and 1.27 blocks a set this season. Larson, from Wichita, hit .279 and averaged 3.11 kills, 1.25 assists and 3.48 digs.

Outside hitter Emily Stockman (2008, 2009) and setter Chelsey Feekin (2012, 2013) are the only others to earn All-American honors more than once.
