Wichita State’s Brown cleared to play after missing four games
Wichita State freshman Zach Brown is cleared to play basketball and practiced Friday and Saturday.
Brown missed the past four games with a concussion suffered when he took an elbow to the head from a teammate in practice. The 13th-ranked Shockers play Evansville at 3 p.m., Sunday at Koch Arena.
“I feel like my normal self,” he said. “I’m coming back hungrier, wanting to get back on the floor so I can play again and help my team win.”
Brown, a 6-foot-7 forward, averages 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds.
