Wichita State’s Jody Larson named MVC volleyball player of the week

Wichita State senior Jody Larson earned Missouri Valley Conference volleyball player of the week honors.

Larson, from Maize South, averaged 4.17 kills and 3.67 digs in wins over Loyola and Bradley. She hit .404 in the two matches.

She had 12 kills and 12 digs in a sweep of Loyola and 13 kills and 10 digs in a sweep of Bradley. Those double-doubles give her eight for the season.
