The best bet

No. 16 Hutchinson at No. 18 Coffeyville, 7 p.m.

Despite a national ranking, this is the first time Hutchinson wasn’t picked to finish in the top two of the Jayhawk Conference since 2010. Losing 5 of 6 to end 2015 and starting this year with a new quarterback are two of the reasons. But the Blue Dragons return most of their offensive line and running game, which should be a good test for a Coffeyville defense led by sophomore LB Coleman Key.
