San Jacinto rallies to beat Cowley baseball in NJCAA World Series
The Cowley College baseball team lost to San Jacinto 8-7 in its NJCAA World Series opener on Sunday night after taking a 7-0 lead in the first.
San Jacinto took the lead back in the ninth on a pair of solo home runs by Baine Schoenvogel and Liam Scafariello. San Jacinto hit four home runs.
Cowley drops into the loser’s bracket, where it will play an elimination game against the Cisco-Yavapi loser on Tuesday at noon.
