Tabor women knocked out in NAIA-II quarterfinals
Briar Cliff (Iowa) defeated Tabor 64-53 in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division II women’s tournament in Sioux City, Iowa.
Tabor fell behind 16-3, but managed to pull within 24-20 by halftime. Briar Cliff reclaimed control at the start of the second half, building a 13-point lead, and Tabor couldn’t recover.
Tonisha Dean scored 14 points to lead Tabor (21-13).
Briar Cliff moves onto the semifinals, where it will face No. 1 seed Concordia (Neb.).
