Kansas women rally from 17 points down for first Big 12 win

Kansas erased a 17-point second-half deficit and beat Texas Tech 68-66 on Wednesday night in Lubbock, Texas, for KU’s first Big 12 win.

Chelsea Gardner scored 20 points, Natalie Knight had 14, Terriell Bradley scored 13 and Lauren Aldridge added 10 for Kansas (10-9, 1-5 Big 12).

The Jayhawks managed to pull out the within despite going more than five minutes without a field goal in the second half. KU held Tech to 23 points after halftime.

West Virginia 63, Kansas State 51 — West Virginia took command with an 18-5 run to start of the second half.

K-State led 25-22 at halftime, with sophomore Kindred Wesemann hitting three three-pointers abd scoring 13 of the Wildcats’ 25 points.

Wesemann finished with a career-high 19 points, and Haley Texada added 11 for K-State (11-6, 1-5 Big 12). Jessica Morton scored a game-high 22 for West Virginia (12-6, 2-4).
