Self gets No. 200
Kansas coach Bill Self notched his 200th victory inside Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday as the Jayhawks took down Texas.
Self improved to 200-9 in at Allen and became the fastest ever to reach the milesone. It took former KU coach Roy Williams 217 home games.
Self was asked if he ever envisioned this kind of home record when he was hired in 2003.
“I know what fans would have said,” Self said. “‘Why the hell did you lose nine?’ ”
GaemDay
