Top recruit plans
One of the nation’s top uncommitted basketball recruits will visit Kansas in January.
Josh Jackson, a 6-foot-7 shooting guard, confirmed that he will take his official visit to KU beginning on Jan. 22, according to 247sports.com. He will be in town for Kansas’ home game against Texas on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Jackson, a native of Detroit, Mich., is rated as the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit in the 2016 class, according to Rivals.com. He plays his high school basketball at Prolific Prep in Napa, Calif. Jackson is considering a list of schools that includes Arizona and Michigan State.
