Kansas State gets basketball commitment from Brian Patrick

The Kansas State basketball team added a player to its 2016 recruiting class Saturday when Brian Patrick orally committed to the Wildcats.

Patrick, a 6-foot-5 small forward, is a three-star recruit, according to Rivals. He announced his commitment on Twitter after taking a recruiting visit to Manhattan.

Patrick plays for Boyd Anderson High in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., the same school that produced former K-State players Mitch Richmond and Martavious Irving.

He is the fourth member of K-State’s 2016 class. He joins four-star guard Xavier Sneed, three-star forward James Love and point guard Cartier Diarra.
