Page, Lewis help K-State cruise past Rio Grande

The Kansas State women improved to 7-1 with a 61-43 win over Rio Grande Valley on Monday night in Manhattan.

The Wildcats were led by a double-double from Kaylee Page, who scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Breanna Lewis also had a huge game for K-State, scoring 15 points to go with nine rebounds, six blocks and four steals.

K-State blew the game open in the second half. Leading 24-20 at halftime, the Wildcats outscored Rio Grande 21-9 in the third quarter. Megan Deines was the other K-State player in double-digit scoring with 12 points.

Anushka Maldonado led Rio Grande (5-6) with 14 points and two steals.
