K-State women beat Grambling State 61-38

The Kansas State women’s basketball team beat Grambling State 61-38 on Saturday in Manhattan.

The Wildcats closed out the first half with a 13-3 run to take a 32-24 lead, then pulled away in the second half while holding Grambling to 15.2 percent shooting (5 of 33).

Deborah Meeks hit four three-pointers and scored a game-high 16 points for K-State, and Shaelyn Martin added 11 points. Breanna Lewis was held to two points but had a career-high six blocks; Ashia Woods had four steals.
