Kansas State center B.J. Finney was named Big 12 co-Offensive Lineman of the Year by the conference’s coaches on Wednesday.
He shared the honor with Baylor blocker Spencer Drango.
Finney, a senior from Andale, won the award following a strong season in which he helped pave the way for K-State’s offense to average 426 yards and 35.8 points a game.
He is also one of six finalists for the Rimington Trophy, presented to the top center in college football. He has started 51 games and been honored by the Big 12 in some way in four straight seasons.

Senior receiver Tyler Lockett joined Finney on the Big 12’s list of accolades as the conference’s Special Teams Player of the Year. It is the second consecutive season he has won the award.
