Lineup Adjustment
Junior guard Justin Edwards replaced sophomore wing Wesley Iwundu in the starting lineup against Bradley. Edwards began the year in K-State’s starting five, but Iwundu took his place in each of the past five games.
K-State coach Bruce Weber said he made the change in an attempt to motivate both players.
"Wesley has to play better," Weber said.
On Edwards: "It gives him a little confidence. Now we see if he can get going. He did some good things, he is just too tentative right now. He needs to be more aggressive."
Edwards had five points, four rebounds and two assists against Bradley. Iwundu had two points and four rebounds.
Hurt Ailing
Junior forward Stephen Hurt missed Tuesday’s game with a groin injury. He suffered the setback against Tennessee and could also miss Saturday’s game against Savannah State. Weber said he will definitely be back next week against Texas A&M.
