The Wildcats remained hot in the area of recruiting Wednesday when they secured a commitment from their fifth prospect of the past week.

K-State’s recruiting class for 2027 is up to 15 members under new head football coach Collin Klein. At the moment, the class ranks No. 31 nationally and No. 4 in the Big 12, according to 247Sports.

London Goggans, a 6-foot and 180-pound safety from Loganville, Georgia, is the newest high school football player who has announced his plans to play for the Wildcats.

Goggans is a three-star prospect who held scholarship offers from an impressive list of schools including Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Maryland, Miami, Oklahoma State, Purdue and several others.

He committed to K-State after making a recruiting visit to campus over the weekend.

Goggans joined a recent wave of recruits in committing to K-State. Defensive back Logan Davis, offensive lineman Brayden Harris and interior blocker Kelvin Eiwo all picked the Wildcats on Sunday. Defensive back George Murray followed on Tuesday.

K-State did lose touted recruit Julian Elzey to Georgia Tech this week, but its recruiting class continues to grow.
