Big 12 reveals men’s basketball schedule for Kansas State ahead of 2025-26 season

The Big 12 unveiled its men’s basketball schedule for 2025-26 on Tuesday, which means Kansas State fans can start seriously preparing for the upcoming season.

K-State will play 18 home games at Bramlage Coliseum, with contests against California, Seton Hall, BYU, Kansas, Baylor and Iowa State serving as the biggest matchups on the home slate.

The Wildcats will host rival Kansas on Jan. 24 (a Saturday) and then head to Allen Fieldhouse for a Sunflower Showdown rematch against the Jayhawks on March 7 (the final day of the regular season).

Other notable K-State road games include a trip to Indiana on Nov. 25, a journey to Creighton on Dec. 13 and conference games at Arizona on Jan. 7, at Houston on Feb. 14 and at Texas Tech on Feb. 21.

K-State head coach Jerome Tang said he added games at Creighton and Indiana to help prepare the Wildcats for Big 12 road atmospheres.

“We play in a league that has great road environments,” Tang said. “So we might as well start preparing for it early. Creighton is top 15 in the country, probably preseason. I think by the time we play Indiana they’ll probably be top 20 in the country, also. Every night in the Big 12, we’re going to play a team with a number next to their name. We might as well get used to it.”

K-State’s conference schedule will begin with a home game against BYU and heralded recruit AJ Dybantsa.

After that, the Wildcats will travel for an extended road trips with back-to-back games against Arizona and Arizona State.

Interestingly, the Wildcats will only play three Saturday home games during league play. Those will come against BYU, Kansas and TCU. Their only other Big 12 home game on a weekend will be against Iowa State on a Sunday.
