Chris Klieman adds quarterback to Kansas State’s 2026 football recruiting class
No one knows who will follow Avery Johnson and become Kansas State’s quarterback of the future, but a new recruit has thrown his name into the mix.
Miles Teodecki, a 6-foot-2 and 205-pound passer from Central Texas, announced his intentions to play for the Wildcats via social media on Wednesday.
Teodecki is a three-star recruit who led Vandergrift High School of Leander, Texas, to a state championship last season while throwing for 3,290 yards and 48 touchdowns over the course of 16 games.
He is a three-star recruit who chose K-State over Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Texas State, UTEP, UTSA and Wyoming.
This is a notable recruiting win for head coach Chris Klieman and the Wildcats, because they were able to lock up a quarterback for their 2026 class in early June.
It also continues a recent run of recruiting momentum that began over the weekend when K-State hosted more than a dozen prospects on campus visits. Bringing all those recruits together at the same time has yielded four commitments since Sunday.
Teodecki joins running back Tanner West, offensive lineman Justin Morales and offensive lineman Keegan Collins as K-State’s latest pledges. Overall, the Wildcats have boosted their 2026 recruiting class up to eight members.
