Three former Kansas State football players land invites to NFL Scouting Combine

Kansas State will be well represented at the NFL Scouting Combine.

A trio of former players have received invitations to compete at the prestigious event later this month in Indianapolis.

DJ Giddens, Jacob Parrish and Marques Sigle will each get to show off their athleticism in front of NFL coaches and scouts.

The NFL unveiled a list of the 329 draft prospects who have been invited to the scouting combine on Thursday.

Giddens, Parrish and Sigle will be joined by four KU players and four Missouri players.

Giddens, a Junction City product, earned the invite after he rushed for 3,087 yards and 23 touchdowns during his three seasons in Manhattan.

It will be interesting to see how his power running skills translate into the 40-yard dash and other stations at the combine.

Parrish, of Olathe, is a defensive back who will try to validate his recent successful trip to the Senior Bowl.

Sigle, another defensive back, will show off his talents after two strong years with the Wildcats.

They are all hoping to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
