About North Alabama (4-3):

The Lions are coming off an 86-71 victory over Tennessee Tech that moved them above .500 for the season. Their other victories came against Blue Mountain, Alabama A&M and Jacksonville State. This is the second time they will hit the road to play a team from a power conference. They also lost to Mississippi State 81-54. KJ Johnson is the team’s leading scorer. North Alabama doesn’t rank high in many statistical categories, but they are capable of making 3-pointers and creating turnovers on defense.

About Kansas State (5-2):

The Wildcats are coming off an overtime victory against Oral Roberts that was much more stressful than it needed to be. K-State struggled to defend the 3-point line in the first half and then over corrected, allowing the Golden Eagles to score easily inside. It will be interesting to see how K-State responds to that test. Tylor Perry and Cam Carter are the two leading scorers on the team, but Arthur Kaluma has been heating up on offense in recent games. He came off the bench earlier this week, but he may return to the starting lineup for this game.

Prediction:

As long as K-State doesn’t get caught peaking ahead to its next game against Villanova this contest should never be in doubt.

The Wildcats are a much better team than the Lions, and there is no reason why they can’t win by a large margin.

It’s possible K-State could even make a run at 100 points, as North Alabama ranks outside the top 200 nationally against both the three and the two. The Lions also play at the 68th fastest rate in the nation.

K-State 87, North Alabama 68

Last game prediction: K-State 85, Oral Roberts 67 (Actual: K-State 88, Oral Roberts 78)

Season Record: 7-0

Season Record ATS: 4-3

Season Record O/U: 6-1
