Kickoff time and TV info set for upcoming Kansas and K-State Big 12 football games
Kansas will host the most important Big 12 football game of the week when it takes the field against Oklahoma on October 28.
At least that is the statement that FOX made when it selected the Jayhawks and the Sooners to play during its “Big Noon Kickoff” national TV window on that fall Saturday.
FOX always tries to start its college football coverage with a big game at 11 a.m. Central. It chose Kansas and Oklahoma for that time slot in two weeks. It’s not hard to see why. The Jayhawks (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) are off to a quality start this season and the Sooners (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) are currently atop the conference standings.
KU is off this week, while Oklahoma plays host to UCF this weekend.
Fans will need more than one viewing device to watch both Kansas and K-State on that Saturday.
K-State will play host to Houston at 11 a.m. on October 28 inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium. That game will be televised on ESPN2.
The Wildcats (4-2, 2-1 Big 12) are coming off a road victory over Texas Tech. They will next play TCU. The Cougars (3-3, 1-2 Big 12) are coming off a dramatic victory over West Virginia and will next play Texas.
