K-State will join Bradley, Northwestern and Pitt in 2019 basketball tournament

Kansas State will head to Florida for a November basketball tournament next season.

The Wildcats are set to participate in the 2019 Fort Myers Tip-Off along with Bradley, Pittsburgh and Northwestern.

The Fort Myers Tip-Off is a new college basketball tournament that began this season at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, Fla.

Wyoming, Boston College, Richmond and Loyola-Chicago participated in the inaugural event.

All games have been televised on Fox Sports 1. A complete schedule for next season’s tournament will be announced at a later time.

The No. 12 Wildcats (5-0) are off to an undefeated start this season and recently defeated Missouri to win the 2018 Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands.
