K-State football fans will get to eat Chick-fil-A at home games this season
Like eating at Chick-fil-A? Like watching Kansas State football? If you answered yes to both questions then you’re in luck.
Starting this season, K-State football fans will be able to purchase chicken from the popular fast-food restaurant at every home game.
Chick-fil-A stands will be located in the South End Zone Pavilion of Bill Snyder Family Stadium, as well as the View Level concourse. The Chick-fil-A stands won’t have quite as diverse a menu as the regular restaurant, but it will be their pleasure to offer fans Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks.
Manhattan Chick-fil-A owner David Hamel, a former K-State football player, will spearhead the food service on game days.
“We continue to find new ways to improve upon the fan experience at all of our venues,” K-State athletic director Gene Taylor said, “and we are excited that we, along with our partners at Learfield Sports/K-State Sports Properties and Sodexo, were able to work out this agreement with David and his local Chick-fil-A franchise. I know our fans will enjoy this addition.”
